Cielo Encantado was created from our shared love of travel, nature, and design, and from a deep appreciation for the culture, history, and light of Northern New Mexico.
Nestled in the Tesuque foothills just north of Santa Fe, this hilltop retreat overlooks piñon and juniper forests, with sweeping views of the Jemez Mountains and skies that shift with every hour of the day. It offers the best of both worlds, a peaceful, natural setting just minutes from the heart of Santa Fe’s galleries, restaurants, and cultural experiences.
Our inspiration came from years of traveling, often with our dogs, in search of spaces that feel both beautiful and welcoming. We wanted to create a retreat that balances thoughtful design with comfort, where every detail feels considered and every stay feels restorative.
